Welcome to the Paulerspury Players’ web site.

Our aim is to have fun raising funds for local causes.

The Paulerspury Players 30th Anniversary Celebration Variety Show

There have been 30 Years of The Paulerspury Players – Oh yes there have! 14,000 panto’ seats sold and over £70,000 donated in cash and in kind to local causes over that time.

We’ve decided we really must celebrate such a long and successful run with a rather special show. Some of the original stars of our early shows have agreed to reprise songs, sketches and Music Hall favourites from way back; add in some excellent comedy, humour and music of almost every genre – and you have a unique show that’s not to be missed!

September 8th is the date to remember, and I suggest you reserve your tickets early to avoid disappointment. The Show will include: Old Time Music Hall; Folk and Country Music; Jazz and Blues; Barbershop Quartet; Morecombe and Wise and Two Ronnies sketches; Comedy acts – old favourites and a chance to join in – all in the comfort of our village hall with a drinks bar and a sit down meal in the interval.

Our Celebration Variety Show is on September 8th, 7:30pm start,  Paulerspury Village Hall. Tickets £12.50 each include buffet supper – Box Office: 01327 811578 or 0845 8334910 or www.paulerspuryplayers.org.uk/box-office

Paulerspury Players will present ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ – a pantomime by Tracey Lyle-Carter and Alec Wagner at Paulerspury Village Hall – Feb 14th to 17th 2018.

You thought you were familiar with the story, but this one is different. Yes, there is a Big Bad Wolf, but he has designs on taking over the local bakery owned by Red Riding Hood’s Grandma, Dame Sponge. Needless to say there is a Good Fairy and her Student who are at hand to thwart Big Bad, along with help from some surprising allies.

Love stories develop when Little Red meets Prince William, the Woodcutter in disguise. Her best friend, Dozy Dora then falls for the Prince’s friend, Larry, but he is reluctant, to say the least.

All the songs are well known tunes and specially written parodies of popular songs. As you would expect there is a thrilling battle between good and evil – fit for the 21st century, and loads of laughs for young and old. As usual, come and have some fun with us; join in the atmosphere with our large cast of familiar as well as some new faces

Paulerspury Players donates its profits to local causes.

L to R: Dame Sponge – Trevor Froggatt; Little Red – Emilia Porteus; Dozy Dora – Alison Uff
